Robert "Bob" Arsenault
Robert "Bob" Arsenault, 85, of Moncton, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre following a brief illness.
Born September 1, 1931 in Sackville, NB, he was the son of the late Alfred and Ina (Legere) Arsenault.
Bob was retired from NB Department of Transportation, a
member of the Beauséjour Curling Club, NB Curling
Association, past president of the Beauséjour Curling Club,
and an avid golfer Bob enjoyed his morning routine starting with
breakfast at Hynes and was often there before the doors opened. He
also enjoyed playing cards, working in his vegetable garden, and
barbecuing at the cottage.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Anne-Marie née Elsliger; his two children: Michel (Kathy); Janice Bueno; three grandchildren: Megan (Nicolette), Meredith (Canh), and Jennifer; a great-grandson, Rowan. He will also be sadly missed by his other family members, especially his aunt "Tootsie" Landry, and many other friends he made throughout his life.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC and Moncton Residence for their excellent care provided during his illness.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton. Visiting hours Sunday September 10th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ-Roi R.C. Church, 300 Dominion Street, Moncton, Monday, September 11 at 10:30 a.m.
Interment will be in the Frenette Funeral Centre Columbarium.
