Yvonne LeBlanc, 86, wife of the late Gérald LeBlanc of Cedar Street, Moncton, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre following a lengthy illness.
Born November 26, 1930 and raised in Acadieville, she was the daughter of the late Désiré and Élodia (Arseneau) Richard.
She is survived by her three sons: Laurie (Pauline), Valmond (Sylvia), and Guy (Anne); two brothers: Albert (Dorothy), and Edonia (Alice); two sisters: Dora Daigle, and Géraldine King; many nieces, and nephews.
Besides her husband, Yvonne is also predeceased by two sisters: Amanda Maillet, and Maria Cail; four brothers: Edouard, Arthur, Léo, and Ovila.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours are Tuesday October 24 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm; Wednesday, from 10 am until departure (10:45) for Notre-Dame-de-Grâce R.C. Church, 858 Mountain Road, Moncton, from where the funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
In memory of Yvonne, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
