Emma Arsenault, 104, wife of the late Alonzo Arsenault of l’Oasis d’Or, Dieppe, formerly of Moncton, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont U.H.C.
Born March 21, 1913, in Richiboucto-Village, she was the daughter of the late Fabien and Thérèse (LeBlanc) Boucher.
She is survived by five children: Yvette Surette (late Donald) of Dieppe, Jeanita Gould (Raymond), Gisèlle Cormier (Dage), Roger (Diane) of Moncton, and Gérald (Francine) of France; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces, and nephews.
She was the last survivor of her immediate family.
Besides her husband, Emma is also predeceased by a son, Patrice; her siblings: Freda, Regina, Irène, Lucie, Joseph, Andre, Aline, and Aurelie.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900).
Visiting hours Wednesday, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, and Thursday morning from 9:30 until departure (10:15).
The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix R.C. Church, 87 Murphy Avenue, Moncton, Thursday, January 25 at 10:30 am.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
