Francis LeBlanc, 82, of Manoir de la Bute, Cap-Pelé, passed away on Thursday, June 7th, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. He was predeceased by his wife Bernadette (2011), née Cormier. Born in Dupuis Corner on April 7th, 1936, he was the son of the late Albert and Anita (Landry) LeBlanc.
He was a commercial fisherman for over 20 years. He enjoyed playing his guitar and following local music.
Francis is survived by his children: Victor (Anise) and Donald (Renée); siblings: Jeannette Gaudet (Camille), Léo-Paul (feu Thérèse), Rosemarie Dauvin (Joe), Alfred (Zelma) and Linda Jacob (Gilles); five grandchildren: Chanèle, Joline, Josée, Megan, Logan and by special friend, Edgar LeBlanc.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Sunday June 10th from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm only. The funeral will be held at the Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila R. C. church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Monday, June 11th at 10:30 am.
