Gérald Gallant, 67, of Halifax passed away on Wednesday, October 10th, 2018 at the Halifax Infirmary NS. Born in Cocagne on November 21st, 1950, he was the son of the late Jean-Pierre and Lucie (Léger) Gallant.
Before his retirement, he was a Maître d’ in various restaurants and was known for his hockey and baseball skills during his youth.
He is survived by his 10 siblings: Jean-Paul (Helen), Marie-Germaine Richard (Rick), Corinne Gauvin, Murielle Breau (Léonard), his twin Gérard (Lte Louisa), Terrence (Gisèle) Rhéal, Louis (Maureen), Maurice (Thérèse Landry), Maria (Dave Cormier) and by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive condolences at St-Pierre R. C. Church, 2000 route 535, Cocagne on Wednesday, October 17th from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 5:30 pm till time of service at 6:30pm.
In memory of Gérald, a contribution to CHU Dumont Foundation – oncology unit, would be appreciated.
