Albertine Cormier
1929-2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Albertine Cormier, 89, of l’Auberge du Soleil, Moncton, and formerly of Saint-Antoine, on Tuesday, November 13th, 2018 surrounded by her beloved family at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont hospital following a short illness. Born on September 6th, 1929 in Cocagne, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Lina Léger.
She is survived by seven daughters: Nicole Williams (late Ronald), Huguette Cormier, Lise Cormier-Foran (John), Pauline Cormier (Gregg Yeadon), Paulette Hawksworth (Nigel), Suzanne Cormier and Chantal Cormier (Roger Léger); one son, Marcel (Annette Collette); two sisters: Dorilla Belliveau and Juliette Leblanc; one brother, Omer (Thérèse); eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Adélard (2006); a son, Maurice (1962).
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, November 17th at 11 am followed by a reception. Visiting hours will be Saturday from 9:30 am until time of service. Interment will be in Saint-Antoine parish cemetery.
