Normand Belliveau, 79, formerly of People’s Park Tower in Moncton, passed away on Tuesday November 27, 2018 at the Faubourg du Mascaret in Moncton. Born on July 7, 1939 in St-Paul, he was the son of the late Calixte and Lina (Gaudet) Belliveau.
Normand was a baker at Lanes Bakery before his retirement.
He is survived by two daughters: Linda Bourgeois (Romeo) of Dieppe, and Brenda Belliveau of Moncton; four sons: Paul Douthwright and Chester Douthwright (Rose) both of Toronto, Ont., Roger Belliveau (Brenda) of Moncton, and John Belliveau of Amherst; one brother, Léo Belliveau (Eileen) of Moncton; five grandchildren: Jessica, Jacob, Melissa, Calixte, and Krouze; eight great-grandchildren: Noah, Mikayla, Benjaman, Ella, Kaylee, Britney, Jordan, and Jaylen; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one sister, Thelma; and two brothers: Alcide and Roger.
By request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
