Eileen Rita Doiron, 91, of Dieppe, formerly of Cap-Pelé, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC on Friday, December 14th, 2018 with her loving family by her side, beloved wife of the late Alfred "Gould" Doiron. Born in Alberton PEI on August 7th, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Osithe "Rose" (Arsenault) Barrett.
She will be sadly missed by her nine children: Elizabeth "Betty" Brydges (Gordon) of Moncton, Patricia Murphy (Boyne) of Port Elgin, Brenda Thompson, Sandra Thompson (Clive), Michael Doiron (Lorraine), Beverly Melanson (Arthur), Tony Doiron (Céline), Ronnie Doiron (Angela) and Norma Brine (Danny) all of Dieppe; six sisters: Betty McKinnon (late Ronald) of Calgary, Alice-Faye Campbell (Bill) of Charlottetown PEI, Bonita Martin (Bill) of Russell ON, Thelma Hogan (Pat), Theresa Gallant (Clifford) and Helen McCarthy (late Gerald) all from Summerside PEI; two brothers: Fred Barrett (Dorothy) of Hamilton ON and Milton Barrett of Summerside PEI;; 24 grandchildren: Robby, Angela, Monica, Natasha, Shannon, Clayton, Tracey, Patrick "PJ", Duane, Joshua, Michelle, Remi, Francelle, Chris, Samuel, Nadine, Melanie, Natasha, Krystal, Erika, Marc, Christian, Jeffrey and Melissa; 34 great grandchildren; one great great grandson, many nieces, nephews, friends and the Doiron family from Cap-Pelé NB.
Eileen was predeceased by five sisters: Gertrude, Isabel, Frances, Yvonne and infant Thelma; two brothers: Jack and infant Stephen.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Wednesday, December 19th from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm, Thursday from 10 am till time of departure 10:50 am. The funeral mass will be celebrated at the Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila R. C. church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Thursday, December 20th at 11 am.
In memory of Eileen, a contribution to the Boîte à Lunch Cap-Pelé or to the Beausejour Family Crisis Centre would be appreciated.
