Camille Brine, 88, of the Villa Providence, Shediac, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at his residence.
Born in Shemogue, NB, he was the son of the late Fred and Ada (LeBlanc) Brine.
Camille will be sadly missed by his five children: Georges (Alison) of Saint John, Gilles (Ginette) of Shediac, Paulette McLeod of Toronto, ON, Lise Bissonnette (Alain) of Caraquet, and Pierre (Louise) of Moncton; his three sisters: Georgie Hachey of Toronto, ON, Thérèse Congdon of Calgary, AB and Jean MacArthur of Pictou, NS; his six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Odila nee Melanson; his brothers and sisters: Bedford, Eileen, Marguerite, Gérald, Bobby, Valerie, Henry, and Roger.
As per Camille’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint-Joseph R.C. Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac, on Monday, December 31 at 10:30 am.
In memory of Camille, donations to the Saint-Joseph Church Fund or to the Alzheimer Society of N.B. would be appreciated by the family.
