Muriel Cormier, 80, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Friday January 11, 2019 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Antoine and Marie (Bastarache) LeBlanc.
She is survived by three daughters: Paulette LeBlanc (Bruce Allanach) of Moncton, Rose-Marie Thériault (Luc) of Oromocto, and Debbie Thomas (Maurice) of Moncton; her siblings: Roger, Edgar (Muriel), Raymond (Anita), Rita Williams (Andy Albert), Irene Cormier, Christine MacArthur (Jacques Sauvé), and Geraldine Beers (Pat Conway), all of Moncton; grandchildren: Stefan, Skyler, Tanner, and Hunter; also by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Laurie Cormier; siblings: Cécile Cormier, Généva Cormier, Gérald, and Antoine Jr.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral will be celebrated on Thursday January 17 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Thursday from 10 am until time of funeral. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Muriel, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
