Bernadette Boudreau, 75, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 9, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Barachois, she was the daughter of the late Avila and Sarah (Léger) LeBlanc.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Donald; three children: Lisa Boudreau (Bruce Norton) of Texas, Victor (Kelly Ladd) of Île Perrault, QC, and Derek (Nancy Ross) of Montréal, QC; two grandchildren: Sarah and Ashley; two great-grandchildren: Brayden and MacKayla; two sisters: Simonne Cormier (late Ernest) of Shediac and Roberte LeBlanc (Jean-Paul LaBelle) of Montréal; three brothers: Algeron "Al" (Doreen) and Henri (late Claudine), both of Moncton, and Daniel (Gisèle) of Grand Barachois; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one sister, Auréa Noël (Antoine), and one brother, Ronald.
In keeping with Bernadette’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral centre. The funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Tuesday February 19 at 11 am. Interment will be in Barachois. In memory of Bernadette, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology or palliative care) would be appreciated.
