Claudette Arsenault, 80, of Dieppe, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday January 23, 2020 at The Moncton Hospital. Born on December 12, 1939 in Lewisville, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Euphémie (Léger) Boudreau.
Prior to starting her family, Claudette had worked for Zellers and Goguen Insurance as a secretary.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 51 years, Ivan; her two sons: Gilles (Lynn) of Halifax, NS, and Pierre (Jill) of Moncton; her four grandchildren: Alexandre, Evan, Eleanor, and Annabelle; two sisters: Loretta Collette (Emile) of Moncton, and Diana Boudreau of Dieppe; five brothers: Paul (Joyce), Armand (Anna), Edouard (May), Maurice (Rita), Gerry (Annette) and Jean-Pierre, all of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday from 10 am until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday January 29 at 11 am at the Sainte-Thérèse-de-l’Enfant-Jésus R.C. Church, 457, Acadie Avenue in Dieppe. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Claudette, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
