Rose Landry, 97, of Moncton, passed away on Monday March 16, 2020 at the Villa du Repos. Born on October 10, 1922 in St-Joseph, she was the daughter of the late Donat and Zoé (Vigneault) LeBlanc.
Her heart and her door were always open to everyone and visitors were numerous.
She is survived by four daughters: Lucille Kelly (Frank), Phyllis Barkhouse (Jerry), Denise MacDougall (Maurice), and Francine Preston; three sons: Paul (Daria), Raymond (Rita), and Richard (Janet); one daughter-in-law, Andréa Landry (late David); one son-in-law, James Stymest (late Jacqueline); 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Aimé; one daughter, Jacqueline; one son, David; one granddaughter, Lisa Kelly; four sisters: Bella, Herméline, Exelda, and Viola; two brothers: Hector and Alyre.

In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, there will be no visiting hours at the funeral centre. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, 220 St. George Street, Moncton on Thursday March 19 at 11 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Rose, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
