Louise Nowlan, 94, of Grass Home in Riverview, passed away on Wednesday March 18, 2020 at The Moncton Hospital. Born on April 2, 1925 in Ste-Marie-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Henri and Irene (Gaudet) Nowlan.
She lived in Hartford, CT, USA. for over 60 years. Louise will always be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, and her sense of humor.
She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, Louise Dutil, as well asher nephews and nieces: Walter, Glenda, Ronald, Guy, Michèle, Michel, Jean, Marisa, Monique, Denise, Jean-Marc, and Claude. She was the last survivor of her immediate family.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers: Fernando (Sarah), Bernard (Louise Dutil), and Norman (Rita); her sisters: Géraldine, Grace, and Dolores (Azor); as well as a niece, Anne-Marie.
The family wishes to thank Lynn and John Grass, and the staff at the Grass Home, as well as the doctors and nurses of the Orthopedic and Palliative Care units of The Moncton Hospital, for the excellent care provided to Louise.
In light of the current Coronavirus pandemic and at the request of the family, visitation and funeral will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. Funeral arrangements are under the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900). In memory of Louise, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
