Jeannette LeBlanc, 79, formerly of Shemogue, passed away on Wednesday March 25, 2020 at the Villa Providence in Shediac. Born on May 29, 1940 in Shemogue, she was the daughter of the late Jude and Nellie (LeBlanc) Brine.
Jeannette was a very generous person. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She loved to cook and made sure you didn’t leave her house with an empty stomach.
She is survived by four children: Linda Dupuis (Charles) of Memramcook, Ronnie of Cap-Pelé, Ralph (Claire) of Memramcook, and Danny (Julie) of Edmonton, AB; five grandchildren: Rémi (Margo), Natasha (Dave), Jennifer, Alysha, and Katelyn; one sister, Margaret-Ann Beggs (Dave) of Charlottetown, PE; three brothers: O’Neil Brine (Rachelle) of Shediac, Gordon (Gerry), and Patrick (Angie) both of Shemogue, and a foster brother, Larry LeBlanc (Jacques) from Moncton; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Yvon (1999); one infant daughter, Debbie; two foster brothers: Joseph Fougère and Jimmy LeBlanc.
In light of the current Coronavirus pandemic and at the request of the family, visitation and funeral will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Shemogue. Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
