Albertine Albert, 81, of Résidence Ti Bons Soins of Shediac and formerly of Cormier-Village, passed away on Tuesday April 14, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Tilmon and Alma (LeBlanc) Cormier.
She is survived by five sisters: Léona Gallant (late Alphée), Amanda Dupuis (late Normand), Emilia Duguay (Ulysse), Elda Jones (Donald) and Majella Doiron (Rhéal); one brother, Norbert; one grandson Dylan; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alphonse (2016); four sisters: Claira Landry, Noëlla Hickey, Bernadette LeBlanc, and Huberte Thibodeau; three brothers: Roméo, Ernest, and Charles Omer.
Due to the pandemic, a private visitation will be held at the centre and a private funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Henri de Barachois R.C. church, 1356 Route 133 in Grand-Barachois on Wednesday July 29. The funeral will be videotaped and posted later in the afternoon on her obituary at www.salonfrenette.com. Interment will be in parish cemetery.
In memory of Albertine, a contribution to Alzheimer’s society would be appreciated.
