Robert "Bob" Bourgeois
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert "Bob" Bourgeois, 64, of Moncton, on Friday April 17, 2020 at his home. He was the son of the late Ulysse Bourgeois and Doreen (Clark) Bourgeois of Peterborough, ON. In addition to his mother, he is survived by brothers: Richard (Lennie) of Peterborough, ON, and Stephen (Katherine) of Orlando, Florida.
Bob lived with his Aunt Bernadette (Bourgeois) and Uncle Robert (LeBlanc) of Shediac from the age of 12. He is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Bob was self-employed as a restaurateur in Highfield Square for many years, and also worked in various call centres over the years. He was an avid photographer, and had passion for hunting and fishing. He was also an animal lover, and had a great love for his dog, Jager. Bob was also an experienced motorcyclist and participated in the organizing of several motorcycle events as a director of the Shediac Motorcycle Bike Rally. Of special note is Bob’s many volunteer activities over the years. He was a kind and generous man.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at a later date. In memory of Bob, donations may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or other charities of the donor’s choice. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
