It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Albertine Daigle, 90, of Moncton, on Saturday April 25, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont UHC. She was the wife of the late Émery Daigle (2002). Born in Cap-Lumière, she was the daughter of the late Hector and Marie (Richard) Boucher.
Albertine was a super mom who devoted all her life to her children who loved her very much. A great wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, everyone who knew her, loved her and she will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her children: Lina Saulnier (Lionel) of Dieppe, Marie Daigle and Roger Daigle, both of Moncton; her grandchildren: Denis (Brenda) and Isabelle; her great-grandchildren: Alex, Brooke, Isaac, Xavier and Maëlle; her sisters: Yvonne Babineau (late Albert) of Richibucto, Léona Richard (Delphin) of Moncton, and Angèla Doucet (Maurice) of Cap-Lumière; her brothers: Alcide (Rita) and Clarence (Doreen), both of Cap-Lumière; her sister-in-law, Ella Robichaud of Moncton; her brother-in-law, Léo-Paul Gray of Richibucto; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one infant great-grandson, Joshua Pineo; her sisters and brothers: Bernadette, Yolande, Aurèle, Dorina, Ernest, Florence, Raymond, Émerie, Roger, Normand, and Bernice.
In light of the latest changes with Covid-19, the visiting hours and funeral service are cancelled until further notice.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Albertine, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
