André "Hio'' Boudreau

1966-2020

André "Hio'' Boudreau

André "Hio" Boudreau, 53, of Shediac, sadly passed away on Monday April 27, 2020 at his residence.

Born in Moncton, he is the son of the late Alcide "Hio" Boudreau and Sara (Boudreau) Boudreau.

As we all know & remember André, he was an exceedingly kind, respectful, funny and he always had a smile & laughter that would light up a room.

He was the Owner of Hio’s Auto Body/Fix Auto, André was known for the love of hunting, fishing and racing which he enjoyed seeing the crowd cheering him on # 71 Hio’s Racing. He had a passion of making people laugh & he was the life of the Party.  He shared so many great memories at André & Janice’s Camp where they would gather with his family and all his numerous friends every weekend.

He will be deeply missed by the love of his life and soulmate, his spouse, Janice (Cormier) Boudreau; his son, Mathieu (Rebecca) Boudreau of Haute-Aboujagane; his daughter, Sophie Boudreau (Stephen) of Grand-Barachois; his three sisters: Annette Thibodeau, and Aline Boudreau (Adélard) all of Shediac, and Claire Melanson (John) of Florida; his three brothers: Louis (Doris) of Boudreau-Ouest, Normand (Charlotte) of Shediac and Harvey (Christine) of Shediac-Bridge; his pride and joy, five grandchildren whom he adored: Cody, Brooklyn, Jackson, Cedric and Lévi; his parents-in-law: Hervé and Yvette Cormier of Shediac; also several nieces, nephews and by many and countless friends.

Because of the pandemic, the private funeral service will be streamed LIVE online from Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 11 am. To view the live funeral service, there will be a link with this obituary.

In memory of André, donations may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or other charities of the donor’s choice.
