Thérèse Landry

Thérèse Landry, 89, of Cap-Pelé passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at the Villa Providence in Shediac.

Born in Petit-Cap, she was the daughter of the late Adolphe and Amanda (Doiron) Doiron.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ernest Landry of Cap-Pelé; her four children: Rhéal Landry (Francine) of Cap-Pelé, Joanne Landry of Shediac, Linda Doiron (Hector) of Cap-Pelé, Marcella Boudreau (Réjean) of Shediac; two sisters: Diana Doiron (late Alcide) of Cocagne et Jeannine Saulnier (late Aquilla) of Moncton; her 11 grandchildren: Mario Landry, Jeannot Landry, Janelle Landry, Mélanie Cormier, Christine Cormier, Isabelle Doiron, Karine Doiron, Serge Landry, Chantal Landry, Rémi Léger, and Anik Léger, and her nine great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Gilles Landry (Aurèla); her brothers and sisters: Léandre Doiron, Robert Doiron (Anna-May), Alice LeBlanc (Tilmon), Philippe Doiron, Émelda Babineau (Arthur), Hermance Niles (Charles), and Néri Doiron.

A special thank you to the persons who gave great care to Thérèse at home: Donna Fougère, Marie-Jeanne Jacob and Betty LeBlanc; the nurses at the Moncton Hospital, the staff of palliative care unit at the Villa Providence in Shediac and Dr. Sara Bazinet for the wonderful care that Thérèse received. Because of the pandemic, the private funeral service will be streamed LIVE online from Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre on Monday, May 11, 2020 at 11 am. To view the live funeral service, there will be a link with her obituary. Interment will be in Frenette Columbarium in Cap-Pelé.
