Paul J. LeBlanc

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul J. LeBlanc, 81, of Dieppe, on Sunday May 10, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Lucien and Emma (Gallant) LeBlanc.

Paul graduated from the Université de Moncton with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He then continued his studies at Université Laval in Québec obtaining his Master’s degree in Business Administration. While in Montréal, he worked for Pratt & Whitney and Coopers & Lybrand. Returning to his roots in Moncton, he then worked for Eaton’s as manager of the Catalogue Office. When Eaton’s closed the catalogue section, Paul opened his private practice.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Goguen Breau; his two daughters: JoAnne (Derek) of Halifax, and Josette (Mark) of Moncton; his brother, Gerard (Debbie) of Ellington, CT; his two step-daughters: Joanne of Bathurst and Ginette (Doug) of Dieppe; his three grandchildren: Alexandre, David and Stephanie; as well as his nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers: infant Roger and Alonzo; one sister, Sr Odette LeBlanc ndsc; and one step-daughter, Lyanne.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral service will be streamed LIVE online from Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre in Moncton (858-1900) on Thursday May 14 at 11 am. To view the live funeral service, there will be a link with his obituary. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In view of Paul being very sensitive to the more needy people, a donation in his name to the House of Nazareth or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be very much appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
