Jean-Marc Melanson, 67, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday May 13, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Virgil "Fish" and Lorraine (Belliveau) Melanson.
Prior to his retirement, he was a systems programmer for Datacor ISM. An avid golfer and member of Royal Oaks Golf Club, Jean-Marc loved music, playing pool, and reading, especially on history. He had a passion for HO Model Railroads and solving all kinds of puzzles.
He is survived by two brothers: René of Dieppe, and Simon of Moncton; as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Raymond.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the private funeral service will be streamed LIVE online from Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre in Moncton (858-1900) on Tuesday May 19 at 11 am. There will be a gathering to remember Jean-Marc and share your memories, at a future date to be determined once the COVID-19 restrictions are reduced.
