It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blair Gaudet (P’tit Blair) who suddenly died at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at the age of 71. He lived in Grand-Barachois. He was the son of the late Lionel and Françoise (Léger) Gaudet.
Known as "P’tit Blair", he owned his own garage "Gaudet Service Station" for 35 years. P’tit Blair was known to have a big heart and was always ready to help. He wanted goodness for everyone and brought happiness to the people around him. He helped everyone and gave his all. He loved gardening, was deeply passionate about watching his grandson’s hockey plays and was enormously proud of his granddaughter with her dance.
Blair will be greatly missed by his spouse, Denise; his two daughters: Natalie Boudreau (Kevin) and Christine Gaudet (Martin Robichaud); his two grandchildren : Yanick and Raphaëlle; his sisters and brother : Émerise Johnson (Alphonse), Cécile LeBlanc (Edgar), Évelyne Léger (Roméo), Diana Gaudet (Linda Johnson), and Omer Gaudet (Murielle).
He was predeceased by two brothers: Emery Gaudet and Léonce Gaudet.
According to Blair’s wishes, there will be no visit to the funeral home or funeral service.
En memory of Blair, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
