It is with great sadness that we announce that Rémi Cormier, of Shediac, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC in Moncton, on Tuesday July 28, 2020 at the age of 42. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Rolande (LeBlanc) Cormier and the late Eugène Cormier of Haute Aboujagane.
Rémi was employed with Edmond Gagnon Ltd.
For those who knew Rémi, he was joyful to be around to say the least. He never backed out of a gathering and he made everyone feel like they were part of his circle. Life was meant to be enjoyed to its fullest, and friends and family could sense that in his demeanor. He loved the great outdoors: fishing and hunting were amongst his pastimes. His laugh and his storytelling will be remembered: it was colorful and from a place where he could make us feel like we were there with him.
Besides his mother Rolande (Norbert LeBlanc), he is survived by his two children: Alek and Audrik; his brother Samuel (Lisa) and their children Maele and Dax of Grand-Barachois; his sister Manon Brun (Armand) of Grand-Barachois; his soulmate Perla Coronado of Shédiac; and his paternal grandfather Adolphe Cormier of Cap-Pelé.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Arcade and Rita LeBlanc; his paternal grandmother, Léona Cormier.
