Louise Bourque, 84, of Dieppe, passed away on Tuesday August 25, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Grande-Digue, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Clarinda (Haché) Richard.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Émile; five children: Bernard of Ste-Marie, Maurice (Donna) of Memramcook, Jacqueline Powell (Arthur « Art ») of Moncton, Monique Melvin (Jim) of Dieppe and Carole Gillespie (Jason) of Quispamsis; eight brothers and sisters: Géraldine Boudreau (late Normand), Juliette Maillet (late Oswald), Jeannita Arsenault (late Valeri), Hélène Perry (late Bill), Aimé Richard (Léona), Lucien (Alice), Léonard (Rita) and Alphonse (Linda); a brother in-law, Neri (Florence); ten grandchildren: Stephen, Christine, Isabelle, Dominique, Stéphanie, Kevin, Justin, Corey, Ashton and Carter, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Albert.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 am only. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required for visitation and social distancing regulations are in effect. Limit of 50 people in the funeral centre at any given point during visitation.
A private funeral service by invitation only will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton at 11:30 am. Interment will be in La Visitation R.C. cemetery, Grande-Digue. The funeral service will be streamed live; to view the funeral, go to her obituary on our Website.
