Alonzo Boudreau, 78, of Shediac, passed away on Sunday September 6, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late Léandre and Yvonne (Gaudet) Boudreau. Before his retirement, Alonzo was a trucker.
He is survived by one son, Reggie (Amanda) of Toronto, ON; four brothers: Paul (Corinne), Valmond (Florence), Jean-Bernard (Murielle) and Red (Jocelyne) all of Shediac; two sisters: Adrienne Boudreau (Arsène) of Boudreau-Ouest and Dorilla Hébert (Normand) of Shediac, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by a grandson, Matthew and a sister, Bernadette LeBlanc.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Thursday, September 10, 2020, from 7 to 9 pm only. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required for visitation and social distancing regulations are in effect. Limit of 50 people in the funeral centre at any given point during visitation.
A private funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph’s R.C. Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac on Friday, September 11, 2020. The funeral mass will be videotaped and the video will be available on his obituary on our Website by the end of the day.
In memory of Alonzo, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
