Barbara Arsneau

Barbara Arsneau

Barbara Anne Arsneau, 50, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 22, 2020 at The Moncton Hospital following a lengthy illness, her loving son Johnathan was by her side. Born in Toronto, ON, Barbara was the daughter of the late Gardner "Harry" and Mary Anne (Roberts) Arsneau.

Barbara was a kind, caring, compassionate, strong, independent, cheerful person who would go out of her way to help anyone in need, whether it was physically, financially or psychologically. She was a very special lady. She believed the good in everyone, even though she suffered the not so good from some.

She went to school and took a pharmacist course and received her degree. She also worked as a social worker while raising her children before her first fight with cancer. She lived daily with her own handicaps such as tumor behind right eye, severe lower back issues due to a car accident while in taxi. She was a fighter for survival while suffering with infection through her body for almost two years.

Barbara had a purpose in life… her children whom she loved and admired especially her grandchildren.

Barbara’s faith in our Lord was strong and she never faltered in praising Him on a daily basis. She is where she wants to be now, home with her mom and the angels and our Lord.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her, especially her loving companion and friend, Fred Stoddard; one daughter, Jessica Lynn Marjorie Arsneau; three sons: Johnathan Sydney Christopher Arseneau, Anthony Dale Joseph Arsneau, and Nicholas Daniel Alexander Arsneau; grandson, RJ; granddaughter, Oceane; sister, Jeanne Arsneau, and brother, Harry Arsneau.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Beth of Moncton.

A private funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900). In memory of Barbara, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
