Victorine Babineau, 99, formerly of Moncton, passed away on Sunday September 27, 2020 at the Villa Providence in Shediac. Born in St-Louis-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Barrieau) Guimond.
She is survived by three daughters: Marie-Anne Byers (Alfred) of Saint John, Jeanne Arsenault (Marcel) of St-Antoine, and Rose-Marie Arsenault (Elide) of Cocagne; two sons: Joseph (Rita) and Clorice (Maria), both of Moncton; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alban (1990); one daughter, Claudette; three sisters: Julie, Olezine, and Marie; and two brothers: Simon and Alban.
The family will receive condolences on Friday October 2 from 9:30 to 11:15 am at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the private funeral service will be celebrated on at 11:30 am. Face coverings are required and social distancing regulations are in effect. The funeral service will be streamed live; to view the funeral, go to her obituary on our Website.
