It is with great sadness that we announce that our beloved son, brother, grandson, Nicholas Ola Bourgeois, 24, of Shediac, passed away accidentally on Saturday September 26, 2020. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Serge and Connie (Leger) Bourgeois of Shediac.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, Luc (Christine Robichaud) of Shediac; maternel grandmother, Diane Leger (late Ola) of Shediac; paternal grandmother, Florence Bourgeois of Shediac; three aunts: Tina Leger (godmother) (Luc) of Nashville, Tammy Boudreau (André) of Dieppe and Patty Allain (Keith) of Shediac; a uncle, Vincent (Carole) of Ottawa, ON; nephew and godson, Benjamin; great-aunt and uncle, Irène LeBlanc (Edmond) of Shediac; paternal great-grandmother, Juliette Bourgeois of Shediac; four cousins: Samuel, Chloé, Jérémie and Patrick, as well as a friend, Chantel (Ryan) and children: Nathan and Liam of Sydney, NS.
He was predeceased by paternal grandfather, Jean Bourgeois; maternal grandfather, Ola Leger; godfather, Richard LeBlanc.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Friday October 2 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm only.
Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required for visitation and social distancing regulations are in effect. Limit of 50 people in the funeral centre at any given point during visitation.
The private funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph’s R.C. Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac on Saturday October 3, 2020. The funeral mass will be videotaped, and the video will be available on Nicholas obituary on our Website by the end of the day.
In memory of Nicholas, a donation to the family would be appreciated.
