Adrice Lirette, 86, formerly of Scoudouc Road, passed away on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 at the Villa Providence Shediac. Born in Robichaud Office, he was the son of the late Gaspard and Rose Lirette.
Adrice was a retired teacher having taught in Dalhousie, Shediac, St-Basile, Richibouctou and St-Louis-de-Kent. He was a determined and disciplined man always seeking new adventures and projects. He has volunteered his time for many causes and in several committees. He was an avid traveler, photographer, handyman, scientist, and enjoyed teasing people. He was passionate about sports, music, painting and loved to play cards. Adrice was a spiritual man and appreciated the beauties of nature.
He is survived by his spouse Claudette (Richard); two daughters: Andrée Lirette (Daniel Vienneau) of Dieppe and Carole Lirette (Neil Purdy) of Moncton; three grandchildren: Justin Boisvert, Nikolas Boisvert, and Saige Porter; one brother, Lévi and one brother-in-law, Rhéal Richard of Shediac.
Adrice was predeceased by his sister and brothers: Thérèse, Edouard, Aquila and Ovila.
A private chapel service will be live streamed on his obituary on our Website on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 4:00pm. Interment will be in Frenette Columbarium.
Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required, and social distancing regulations are in effect.
In memory of Adrice, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
