Arthur George Auffrey, 71, of Moncton, passed away on Friday November 6, 2020 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Philipe and Lina (Bourque) Auffrey.
Prior to his retirement, Arthur was a purchasing manager at CN.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Yvonne née Richard; two brothers: Edgar (Cindy) of Moncton and Paul (Jeannine) of Dieppe; one sister-in-law, Annette (late Robert) of Moncton; as well as his nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers: infant Roger and Robert.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required and maximum participation of 50 people at a time with social distancing regulations are in effect. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce R.C. Church, 858 Mountain Road, Moncton, on Friday, November 13, 2020, at 11 am. The funeral mass will be videotaped, and the video will be available on his obituary on our Website at the end of the day. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
