Aldé LeBlanc, 78, of Grande-Digue, passed away on Wednesday January 13, 2021 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Cléophas and Anna (Richard) LeBlanc.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Irène née Bastarache; four children: Gerald "Gerry" (Danielle Cormier) of Grande-Digue, Donna LeBlanc (Stanley Cormier) of Lakeville, Linda LeBlanc of Grande-Digue and Paul (Robyn Savory) of Hamilton, ON; seven grandchildren: Christopher, Claire, Christine, Chrystal, Alysha, Ashton, and Jaden; 12 great-grandchildren: Simon, Riley, Ava, Hope, Clarence, Abbey, Kristen, Isabelle, Sebastien, Douglas, Dillon, and Destiny; one great-great-grandchild, Jonah; two sisters: Delma Roberts (late Leo) of Toronto, ON, and Hélène Robichaud (late Levi) of Dieppe; two brothers: Henri (Alice) of St-Antoine, and Eloi (Gérène) of Dieppe; as well as his nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one son, Eli; one grandson, Sheldon; one sister, Germaine; and one brother, Ola.
Due to the pandemic, the visitation and funeral service will be celebrated at a later date. In memory of Aldé, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
