Ronald Williams, 88, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday January 20, 2021 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Louis and Délima (Landry) Williams.
Ronald had worked for Ford’s Pharmacy and taught at Hawaiian School of Music. He played with Val Surette and the Nighthawks, performing comedy skits.
He is survived by Janice Després of Moncton, whom he considered like his daughter; two special nieces: Linda Goguen of Moncton and Betty Hicks of Welland, ON; his sister-in-law, Magellan Landry of Dieppe; as well as other nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He was predeceased by his wife, Géralda née Chiasson (2013); three sisters: Alice, Doris, and Marguerite; four brothers: Arthur, Edward, Johnny, and Lloyd.

The funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Thursday February 11 at 2 pm with visiting hour from 1 pm until time of service. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required and a maximum participation of 25 people at a time with social distancing regulations are in effect.
