Karen Anne Eustace (Letterick) who loved being called Grammie, 79, of Monarch Hall, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 31, 2021 after a lengthy illness. Karen was born to Cameron and Lillian (Drillon) Letterick in Moncton.
Karen was a homemaker and a very active community member. She was a proud life member of I.O.D.E. (Ladies Auxiliary), a long-time volunteer (25 years+) at the Help 24 Au Secours Crisis Line, the R.C.M.P. Victim Services (15 years+) and a member of the Citizens Advisory Committee. Karen took most pride in being a grandmother; her grandchildren were the most important people in her life.
Karen was a passionate Toronto Maple Leafs fan, and when she wasn’t volunteering for the Moncton Gagnon Beavers (15 years+), you would find her at home watching a hockey game. Karen always had a hockey billet (or two) to keep her busy.
She is survived by her son, Scott (Teresa), daughter Catherine, brother Tom (Garda), as well as three grandchildren: Halle, Zack and Maddie, who were the loves of her life.
Karen was predeceased by her father Cameron, mother Lillian, and her two aunts: Daisy and Ruby.
Due to the pandemic, there will be no visitation or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Karen, donations can be made to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation.
Rest peacefully Mom, we love you! xo
