Agnes LeBlanc, 80, of Scoudouc, passed away on Friday, February 12th, 2021 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born in Saint Joseph du Moine, NS, she was the daughter of the late Simeon and Adèle (Aucoin) LeBlanc.
Mom was generous, kind hearted, she was a very good cook. Agnes was a past NB Women’s Horseshoe Champion and an excellent spoon player. She loved music and a good game of Crib. Her family near and far was an important part of her life.
She is survived by her children, Richard Melanson of San Francisco, CA, USA, Diane Melanson of Scoudouc, Bobby Melanson of Shediac and Denise Melanson (Norbert Rachwal) of Dieppe; her siblings, Dora Delaney-Aucoin (Daniel) of Grand-Étang, NS, Jeanne Roode (Bill) of Webster, NY, USA, Helene Delaney of Vernon, BC, Arthur LeBlanc (Elaine) of Saint Joseph du Moine, NS and Alfred LeBlanc (Kathy) of Chéticamp, NS; her seven grandchildren and her six great grandchildren; as well as by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 and as per Agnes wishes there will by a celebration of her life at a later date.
In memory of Agnes, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
