Gail (Mary Patricia) Craig, 80, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday March 9th, 2021 at K.E. Spencer Memorial Home. Born in Ottawa, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Jane (O’Neill) Craig.
Gail loved Jesus, people of all cultures and languages and knew a bit of many different languages. She loved singing, playing her keyboard and was a trained opera singer. She shared the love of Jesus with many kids and adults through her music and card ministries.
She is survived by her cousins Mary Pat, Michael (Michelle) and Bernard of Ottawa, her church family at the Moncton Wesleyan, and her special friends, Shima (Michael) and their children, Emma and Sebastian of Riverview.
By request, there will be no visitation. A celebration of Gail’s life will be held at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Sunday March 14 at 2 pm with Pastor David Way officiating. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required and a maximum participation of 50 people at a time with social distancing regulations are in effect. The funeral service will be streamed live. Interment will be in Ottawa, Ontario. In honour of Gail’s love for the Jewish people, a donation to foi.org or ifcj.ca would be appreciated.
