Anita Martin, 78, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre on Thursday April 1, 2021. Born in Collette, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Edesse (Hachey) Doucette.
Anita worked at Fabricville for 28 years.
She is survived and will be greatly missed by her son, Gilles (Christine); her daughter, Linda LeBlanc; three grandchildren: Erica, Ryan and Stéphane; two sisters: Elda Doucette (Rhéal) and Émilia Martin; one brother, Eugene (late Lena); one sister-in-law, Cécile; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Besides her parents, Anita was predeceased by her husband, Joseph (1997); her brothers and sisters sisters: Éloi, Médric, Gérard (late Rosalie), Antoine, Alma (late Félix), Régina (late Robert), and Roselda.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Monday April 5 from 2 to 4 pm only. Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required for visitation and social distancing regulations are in effect. Limit of 50 people in the funeral centre at any given point during visitation. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Anita, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology Centre) would be appreciated.
