

Raymond LeBlanc, 93, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday April 14, 2021 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Richibouctou, he was the son of the late Théodore and Elvina (Babineau) LeBlanc.
Raymond started working at the Moncton Fish Market at a young age. He worked for 30 years before purchasing the fish market at 50 years old. After retiring and selling the business to his sons, he loved to spend time at the fish market and keep active at the place he had spent most of his life.
He is survived by his wife for 62 years, Loretta née Allain; two sons: Terrence "Terry" (Francine) of Grand-Barachois and Donald "Donny" (Denise) of Dieppe; five grandchildren: Stéphanie, Dennis, Mélanie, Mathieu, and Joel; six great-grandchildren: Samuel, Calie, Arielle, Arianne, Kaleb, and Xavier; one sister, Stella McGrath (late Gerald "Gerry) of Moncton; as well as his nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother, Gérald.
The family extends their sincere gratitude towards the staff of Faubourg du Mascaret for their exceptional care provided to Raymond.
A private funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Due to the pandemic, face coverings are required and social distancing regulations are in effect. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
