June Poirier, 91, of Pointe-du-Chêne, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC, on Friday, July 1st, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Roland and Louise (Petitpas) McFadden of Pointe-du-Chêne.
She is survived by her children: Richard, Brian, and Peggy, all of Pointe-du-Chêne; two sisters: Pearl Mitton of Moncton and Joy Belliveau (Paul) of Shediac; three grandchildren: Ian, Aaron, and Heather and one great grandchild, Josh as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, John (1994); one daughter, Sara Petitpas (son-in-law Stan) and four brothers: Garnett, Johnny, Cliff, and David.
As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. In memory of June, a contribution to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
A graveside service will be held for friends and family at the Greenwood Cemetery on July 8th at 1pm.
