William "Bill" Reddy, 82, of Grande-Digue, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday January 9, 2023, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born in Toronto, ON, he was the son of the late William and Franzella (Meyer) Reddy.
Before retirement, Bill worked as an electrician for IBEW Local Union 1555 and a chimney sweep. He loved sailing and wood working so much he ended up building his own boat.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Theresa (Landry); three children: Christine Macdonald (Rick) of Texas, Stephen (Margaret) of Moncton and Brian (Lucie) of Dieppe; one brother, Michael Reddy of Toronto, ON; four grandsons: Jacob, Joshua, Dylan and Liam; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) where the funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday January 12 at 4 pm. Visiting hours are from 2 pm to 3:45 pm. In memory of Bill, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
