Johann Shaw, 97, of Pointe-du-Chêne passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Born in Cape-Breton NS, she was the daughter of the late Sarah May Shaw.

Before her retirement, she was the owner/operator of The Greenoughs Bakery for over 50 years, and she loved helping those in need.

She is survived by her nephew Nelson Jessome and his partner Chacha who were the primary caregivers for many years, a sister Norah May Shaw-Jessome who is the last surviving sister of the family and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, her son Edward Shaw, and two brothers: John Donald Shaw and Nelson Shaw.

As per Johann wishes, there will be no visitation, no funeral service and burial will take place at the Greenwood Drive Cemetery at a later date.

In memory of Johann, a donation can be made for the Greenwood Cemetery, during business hours at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac.
