Irène Boudreau, 101, of "O" Bons
Soins, Shediac, passed away on Tuesday June 18, 2024 at the Dr.
Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Shediac, she was the daughter of the
late Cécime and Élise (Boudreau)
Boudreau.
Irène was a
woman who loved her children, grandchildren, and
great-grandchildren. Her happiness was to be surrounded by
her family. She cared about everyone's well-being. Always positive,
her nature was to help and encourage. She was loved by
all.
She was a member of the
Légion de Marie and the "Institut Féminin
de Boudreau Office".
She is survived by her
three daughters: Diane Gallant (Daniel) of Grand-Barachois, Francine
Gallant (Paul), and Noëlla Comeau (Roger) both of Shediac;
four sons: Yves (Linda) of Grand-Barachois, Rhéal (Joyce)
of Shediac, Eric (Carole) of Shediac and Gilles (Kelda) of
Dieppe.; one sister, Sara of Shediac; one sister in-law, Florence
Boudreau (late Alonzo) of Dieppe; 11 grandchildren: Nathalie, Marc,
Danielle, Lynn, Janik, Christine, Raquel, James, Nicholas, Jaden, and
Denis; 12 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and
nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Patrice
"Pat" (1998); nine siblings: Délina Boudreau,
Flora Boudreau, Prescille Boudreau, Willie, Jacob, Ulysse, Euclide,
Robert, and Ola.
The family would like to thank the management and
dedicated staff of the Residence "O" Bons Soins for their
exceptional care during her 14-year stay. Special thanks to Dr. Sara
Bazinet for the precious care given to our
mother.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette
Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297)
on Sunday June 23 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass
will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac
on Monday June at 24 at 2 pm. Interment will be in the parish
cemetery.
In memory of Irène, a contribution to the
St-Jospeh cemetery, CHU Dumont Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be
appreciated.
