It is with great
sadness that we announce the passing of Jacob Murphy, 30, of
Grand-Barachois on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. He was the beloved son of
Gisèle and James Murphy, and loving husband to Ellie
Murphy.
Jacob leaves behind a
loving family: his beloved wife Ellie and their cherished children:
Grayson and Emma Grace. He is also survived by his brothers: Nathan of
Shediac and Jeremy (Melanie) of Grande-Digue; his stepfather Paul and
his stepmother Jessica, his paternal grandfather Gerard of Fredericton
and maternal grandmother Lucina of Memramcook, as well as two nieces:
Eveline and Zoé and a special cousin Justin Cormier. Jacob
will be fondly remembered by his in-laws Ian and Stephanie, Aaron
(Melanie), Ashleigh (Chad) all of Cap-Pelé, and Faith
(Julien) of Scoudouc.
He was predeceased by
his paternal grandmother Patricia, maternal grandfather Dismas, and a
cousin, Remi.
Above all, Jacob
Murphy was a devoted husband and a loving father. His children,
Grayson and Emma Grace, were his pride and joy. His warmth, kindness,
and adventurous spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. Known
for his love of the outdoors, Jacob found joy in camping and canoeing
with his family, often sharing these passions with his large circle of
friends.
Jacob was a dedicated
member of Boilermaker Local 73 since 2015, where he forged lasting
friendships and contributed diligently to his
craft.
