André Arsenault, 88, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday October 30, 2024 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Clairice (LeClair) Arsenault.

Prior to his retirement in 1996, André was a stage machinist at Radio-Canada.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bernice (Gallant); three sons: Gilles (Peggy) and Michel (Heather), both of Moncton, and Denis (Elena) of Ottawa, ON; three grandchildren: Nadia of Miramichi, Luc of Moncton, and Kaitlyn of Ottawa, ON; one sister, Thérèse Goguen (late Placide); as well as his nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters: Marie, Sister Alice, and Rita; and three brothers: Alcide, Léo, and Jérôme.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude towards the nurses, doctors and support staff of Unit 4200 at The Moncton Hospital for the wonderful care provided to André.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Church, 858 Mountain Road, Moncton on Monday November 4 at 11 am. Interment will be at Frenette Columbarium in Moncton. In memory of André, a contribution to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
