Rita Marie Kervin, of Moncton, passed away at the age of 88 at The Moncton Hospital on February 03, 2025. Born in Saint-Paul, NB, she was the daughter of the late Camille and Eugénie (Goguen) Gaudet.

Rita will be sadly missed by her children: Linda Wilson (David) of Irishtown, Glenn of Moncton, Brenda Welling (Richard) of Shediac Cape, and Brian (Cheryl) of Riverview; five grandchildren: Sarah, April, Kristen, Jessica and Kaitlyn; five great-grandchildren: Riley, Owen, Parker, Sadie and Cecilia; two sisters: Cécile DeVarennes and Florence (Donald) Gautreau; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Vincent (2017); brothers: Edouard, Hervé, Alfred, Edmond and Normand; and sisters: Alexina, Lina, Marie, Anna, Lorette and Emilie.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) from where the funeral will be celebrated on Friday February 7 at 3 pm. Visiting hours are Friday from 2 pm until time of funeral. Interment will be in St. Lawrence O’Toole cemetery in Irishtown. In memory of Rita, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
