It is with great sadness that we announce that Michel Corbin,
71, of Moncton, passed away on March 25, 2025, at the Villa du
Repos.
Born in Rimouski and originally from Sainte-Marguerite-Marie
(Québec), Michel dedicated his life to his family and his
work. He was passionate about his career as a forestry
contractor.
He is survived by his loving family: the mother of his
children Nicole Côté, his daughter Julie (Lloyd
McIntyre), his son Mathieu (Lisa Parker), his beloved grandchildren:
Jordan, Audrey, and Jacob, his brothers: Gérald (Odette
Carrier), Richard (Hélène Lepage), Guy, and
Marcel (Diane Boudreau), his sister-in-law Nancy Arsenault, his aunts
as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Alcide Corbin and
Marguerite Ouellet, as well as his brother, Marius.
We will forever cherish the memories shared, the lessons he
taught us, and the love he gave.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to
the staff at Villa du Repos for their attentive care over the past
years.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297), where a
celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 1:30
p.m. There will be no visitation before the funeral
service.
In memory of Michel, a contribution may be made to Parkinson
Canada.
