Mackenzie Stephen Brigham, 33, of Moncton, passed away on
Wednesday March 26, 2025 at his residence. Born in Fredericton, he was
the son of Stephen and Janice (Richard) Brigham of
Alma.
Mackenzie worked in construction and landscaping. He loved to
spend time at the camp and in nature, and had a love for animals. He
was a very kind and nurturing soul. He loved his family and was
especially proud of his brother Ryan. His children were his entire
world. He loved them more than anything and he was so proud of them.
He struggled with substance abuse disorder and tried so hard to beat
this terrible disease .Please be kind with people struggling with
addictions. They are someone’s loved one, and such disorders
can affect any family.
Besides his parents, he is survived by three children: Katie,
Ben and Eric; his brother, Ryan (Jenna); his niece, Olivia Rose; as
well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Eric and
Madelyn Richard, and his paternal grandparents, David and Patricia
Brigham.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900) from where
the funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday April 3 at 3 pm.
Visiting hours are Thursday from 1 pm until time of funeral.
