It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Euclide "Joey" Brun, age 87, of Grand-Barachois. He passed away peacefully on Monday, March 31, 2025, at the Villa Providence surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Cap Pele, Euclide was the son of the late Dosithé and Laudianne (Landry) Brun.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He married the love of his life, Eva Breau, in 1963, and they shared 61 wonderful years together.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Eva, his children, Paul (Anne) Brun of Grande Digue, and Joanne (Christian) Dancause of Greater Lakeburn; his grandchildren, Julien Dancause, James Brun and Chelsea Brun, his brother-in-law Arthur (Roberte) Crossman, nephews, nieces and cousins.

He was predeceased by his brother, Aris Brun, and two sisters, Marjorie Crossman and Claudette (Floyd) Brine.

He was an upholsterer in Cambridge, Mass until he returned home to New Brunswick and worked at Lockwood. Euclide enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and darts.

"Our heartfelt thanks go to the staff at Villa Providence for their compassionate care and excellent service."  "We especially thank Murielle and Ron Bourgeois for their constant and caring visits to her uncle".

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) on Monday April 7, 2025, from 12:30 – 1:45pm. The funeral service will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac on Monday April 7, 2025, at 2:00 pm.

Interment will be in the St-Henri cemetery in Grand-Barachois N.B.

In memory of Euclide, a contribution to the Activity Dept. of the Villa Providence or the St-Henri cemetery in Grand-Barachois would be appreciated.
