It
is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Euclide
"Joey" Brun, age 87, of Grand-Barachois. He passed away
peacefully on Monday, March 31, 2025, at the Villa Providence
surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Cap Pele, Euclide was the son
of the late Dosithé and Laudianne (Landry)
Brun.
He
was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He married the love of
his life, Eva Breau, in 1963, and they shared 61 wonderful years
together.
He
will be deeply missed by his wife, Eva, his children, Paul (Anne) Brun
of Grande Digue, and Joanne (Christian) Dancause of Greater Lakeburn;
his grandchildren, Julien Dancause, James Brun and Chelsea Brun, his
brother-in-law Arthur (Roberte) Crossman, nephews, nieces and
cousins.
He
was predeceased by his brother, Aris Brun, and two sisters, Marjorie
Crossman and Claudette (Floyd)
Brine.
He
was an upholsterer in Cambridge, Mass until he returned home to New
Brunswick and worked at Lockwood. Euclide enjoyed hunting,
fishing, playing cards and
darts.

The family will receive condolences at
Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) on
Monday April 7, 2025, from 12:30 – 1:45pm. The funeral
service will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church, 415 Main Street,
Shediac on Monday April 7, 2025, at 2:00
pm.
Interment will be in the St-Henri
cemetery in Grand-Barachois N.B.
In
memory of Euclide, a contribution to the Activity Dept. of the Villa
Providence or the St-Henri cemetery in Grand-Barachois would be
appreciated.
