Alva LeBlanc, 91, of Shediac, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Villa Providence, Shediac. Born in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Adélard et Elizabeth (Duguay) Doiron.

She is survived by her sons, Daniel of Cap-Pelé and Victor (Lisa) of Toronto, ON; her siblings, Emilia Boudreau of Haute-Aboujagane, Léontine LeBlanc (Léonard) of Cap-Pelé, Philippe (Géralda) of Shediac and Jean-Louis (Donalda) of Cap-Pelé; sister-in-law, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Emile (2020); siblings, Yvonne LeBlanc, Yvon Doiron, Alfred Doiron, Théobald Doiron, Roger Doiron, Albert Doiron and Father Ulysse Doiron.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm ONLY. The funeral service will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be in the St. Henri Cemetery, Grand-Barachois.

In memory of Alva, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
