With heavy hearts and loving memories, we announce the
passing of our sister, Yvonne (Belliveau) Leger. She passed away
peacefully with her family by her side at the Saint John Regional
Hospital on Monday April 21, 2025. Born in Saint-Paul, she was the
daughter of the late Basil and Eileen (McDonald)
Belliveau.
Yvonne will be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters:
Pauline (Raymond) Hebert of Bouctouche, Linda
(Désiré) LeBlanc of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent,
Caroline (Clarence) Gautreau of Memramcook, Charles (Ginette Melanson)
Belliveau of Riverview, Gerald Belliveau of Moncton, and Lorraine
(Jerry LeBlanc) Belliveau of Dieppe. She will be missed by her nieces
and nephews: Réjean (Anita), Jules (Jen), Julien, Jolaine,
Josée (Allain LeBlanc), Joel (Samantha Brine), Paige (Cody)
and Jeremy, and her grand-nieces and grand-nephews: Caleb,
Beyoncé, Maxime, Roméo, Sébastien,
Lilianne, Kaylee, Jilliane and William, whom she adored and was very
proud of.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother,
Raymond.
Yvonne was a kind and loving sister, aunt and friend. She
loved our family gatherings and enjoyed taking care of her
nieces’ dogs, Duke and Eddie.
Prior to her retirement, Yvonne worked at
Wawanesa Insurance for many years. After retirement, she
worked at Co-op Atlantic, Sears, Kent Building Supplies, Cleo's and
her last job was at Kadam.
The family will receive condolences at Saint-Paul-de-Kent
R.C. Church, 6476, Route 515 in Saint-Paul-de-Kent where the funeral
mass will be celebrated at a later date. Interment will be in the
parish cemetery in the spring. In memory of Yvonne, a contribution to
the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements
